MORE OCTOBER ACTIVITIES--2009

This group went to London to see Oliver which was really good as well. Hobbs, Skinners, Pam and Arthur Brooks, Faggs? The others were in the row down below. We went down into smugglers caves and learned the history of the smugglers who hid their booty in these caves on the edge of the sea at the base of the cliffs. Terrell enjoyed learning all about it.

We went on a van trip to Hastings and went up on this hill overlooking the city and the sea. There are ruins of an old castle just to the right of this picture. Jim and Eleanor Foulger loved the view.
For our hump day we all went into London by train and went to see Phantom of the Opera. It was really so good and we all enjoyed eating at the Texas Embassy restaurant in London before we went to the play. There were Turners, Foulgers, Nelsons, Nielsens, Gneitings,Gonzales,,and Hobbs.
At the program Terrell sang The Impossible Dream, from Man from La Mancha. He did a really good job and really seems to enjoy performing. Good for him- he is great!
