FEBURARY 14, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Valentines was on a Sunday and for our fireside we had 2 "BYES" Those who are leaving said their goodbyes and testimonies. Holly Hutchings has been a special fellow temple worker with us. She has kindly adopted us as surrogate parents and we really enjoy her fun and crazy-ness. We hope she will come to Canada to see us one day.
Holly and June and Ray Kemp are the ones leaving and giving their goodbyes. Kemps worked in the office at the temple and were assistant recorders. They are from Basildon Ward area where Ken and Suzanne Barfuss lived when they were in England for a few years. June was a counsellor to Suzanne in the R.S. pres. when they were here. Really good people that we will miss.

Valentines Day with a dozen beautiful roses and a really nice card. I got Terrell a nice tie tack with the angel Moroni on it standing on a pearl. We had a really good dinner with Gneitings and Nelsons.

JANUARY 2010 JUST AT OUR FLAT

I got a hair cut and colored but you couldn't really tell.
Terrell went on an outing to places near by and to Horsham where tony Vowels knew the man who built this custom car right in his own garage. It is supposed to go about 200 miles an hour. Mike Dewsnup is in the drivers seat and Terrell and Jo Turner and Bonnie and Cheryl are looking on.This is the puzzle our kids sent to us for Christmas. This is the picture on the box. We has such a hard time doing it and this is why. See the next picture-----
The actual picture, when we got the puzzle finished, was of the Tower Bridge by the Tower of London. The picture on the box was of Big Ben, London Eye and the bridge there. Two totally different places and pictures!!!

LONDON TEMPLE IN THE SNOW--DEC.2009

Terrell and Denise with our friend Georgia Matthews. She comes to the temple on her breaks from school and stays with her grandparents, Pres. and Sister Matthews. She is just younger than Alyssa and has been emailing her now and then. Everyone was out snowballing especially the young missionaries. This is the Manor House where we live but we are on the other side. It is about 260 years old and has had many improvements since then. It has unique chimneys and a room up at the top that has windows on all four sides so they could see out in every direction.

This is our west window and the door into the building is just below this.

This is a neat view in the snow but I much prefer it in the summer when there are trees and flowers and greenery everywhere. The temple is beautiful even on a snowy day! The pond looks almost frozen over and where are the fish now? Our pet duck, Donald is nowhere to be seen this day!
