MORE ISLE OF WIGHT APRIL 2010

Ellie and Denise at the wall at Carisbrooke Castle. There was a donkey run well where the donkeys demonstrated how they would have drawn water out of a very deep well by walking around a huge wooden wheel that pulled up the water buckets to provide water for the residents of the castle.
Temple grounds with the flowering trees and the daffodils growing in the lawn.

EASTER WEEKEND AT ISLE OF WIGHT WITH FOULGERS CONT.

Ellie and Jim Foulger at the Miniature village at Godshill, Isle of Wight. The little village was so charming with all the homes, churches, railway with trains, lake and boats, roadways, schools, farms, parks, chine with stream, Thatched roof houses. There were little children and people at each place , playing games, going to church or school, to a concert in the park,or boating in the lake. There were flowers, grass, hedges and trees all in scale. It looked like such a lot of work to keep it up and build it in the first place. It was very well worth going to see. The miniature railway and station wound around hills and trees and rivers. It was really cute to see.
A thatched roof house on the Shanklin Chine. There were roads with vehicles and walking paths with all the surrounding trees and such.
There was a cute little farm with all the out buildings and this cute little pig pen with the sow and her litter. The farm family was there watching.
Terrell, Denise and Jim Foulger by some of the small houses and the church. There was a wedding going on in the church yard, with all the wedding party and the guests. Fun place to visit.
